After first opening Registry Mechanic I was happy to see the interface was nothing but great. Everything is easy to see and all tasks are laid out for you so you can choose what needs to be done. It is really obvious that they kept in mind that both casual and expert users would be using their software. We thought that was an extremely important and wise decision on their part. Casual users can do tasks without the worry of any harm coming from it and the expert users gain the control they often desire. We started off by testing the ‘Clean Your Registry’ function on a computer that we purposely messed the registry up on. Basically, we went in and had a blast causing as many errors as we could.
